Form 1's with a Trust seem to get turned around quick.
Longest I've had one take is a little over three weeks.

Form 4's with a trust still suck on wait times.
Shortest I've personally had was around 9 months.
I just filed another at the end of February so I'm hoping that one will be approved in six months or less.
    One can dream I suppose.

You won’t be the only one-every online and B&M retailer and dealer I see is sold out of everything requiring tax stamps after about a month of fast approvals-it’s getting crazy out there.

    Yep.
    Bought a SPC9SD SBR (two stamp) and a SPC9 that I firm 1’d.
Eyeing another one with these low wait times.

I hear individual forms are being returned fast, trusts not so much.
The info I have on this (from a major suppressor seller) is that single person trusts (just the buyer) will usually be just as quick as the individual. It's the multi-person trust that takes the extra times because all individuals on the trust must be vetted.

I received notice that I was approved yesterday. Took just over 4 months. Now I have another small wait for my 7 day "cooling off" period.
    Nonsense...

Not necessarily, my trust (a Shyster special) is written to only have one RP who needs to be checked. There are ways to write trusts for large numbers of people but only have one who has to submit prints, photos etc post 41f/p rules. Others not so well written necessitate anyone listed to jump thru the gov’s hoops.

Silencer Central... once you're approved by the Feds, they mail your Sherrif with notification that you have been approved. Once the Sherriff responds, there is a 7 day wait (cooling off period).
    Then they can ship.

It sounds like they don't want to do nfa business. There is no statute that says this has to be done.
