I can get behind this one. Free CPL renewals going forward.
So the next logical step would be a lifetime CPL? Like the pre-COVID HB 4021 of 2019 that died in committee.
What makes those two classes of person entitled to special treatment?
Don't they have anyone in the gun community helping them with this stuff?
Hard pass on this one.

Agree with not allowing a free pass for LE.
It has been nice as a veteran not to pay state fees for a handful of licenses lately. Would be really nice to see it extend to CPL. Maybe one day DL and Plates will be included for vets.
Being former LE (Ohio), and moving to the UP permanently in a couple months time, I found that something like LEOSA and any special circumstances for prior LE is pointless. LEOSA is federal and states could care less, it carries no weight. Everyone should be incorporated into all firearm related statutes equally, for no reason beyond the 2nd amendment. If it’s a training and experience thing, doesn’t fly with me.

No more special carve outs.
