Yes.


No requirement to turn in the form after the sale like a pistol though. Pistol sales remain the same.

If buying a long gun from an FFL, you don't have to obtain an LTP if you don't want to.

I can agree for the change, one aspect is to assure the seller that the buyer has passed a background check and weed out felons from buying a long gun.
I know from past experiences I have asked if they have been convicted of a felony but was not so sure they were telling the truth, they were MGO members.
Also I just happened into finding this new law, no one out there said anything about this change or I am not keeping in tune with the world. Did MGO pass this info on to the membership?
