    Longrifle period info

Hey, does anyone know of a good book or source of info for learning in depth the styles and periods of the old pennslyvania rifles. I have looked at the local library but nothing good. I am specifically interested in the 1750-1790's period, and how to distinguish between Bethlehem/Allentown/Snyder/ Lancaster styles and when their correct peroids were
    thanks

Sounds like a good question for Jim Supica ("Ask the Gun Guy") in Shotgun News.

There's an antique Gun Show at Novi Expo Center this weekend. Another place to ask your questions.

I'd go, but I can't afford the temptations. I'm making do by fixing and fondling old guns.

I'm so broke I can't even pay attention!
